Handcrafted, Classic-style Single-cut Guitar

As far as classic-inspired solidbody electrics go, the Heritage Standard H-150 is the real deal. Its curly maple top is supremely eye catching, and its single-cut body will feel as familiar as the back of your hand. Plug in, and you’ll experience magical PAF tones, thanks to a duo of Seymour Duncan humbuckers. And you’ll appreciate this guitar’s comfortable rolled Standard "C"-shaped neck and easy-playing rosewood fingerboard — precision Plek'd for maximum sustain and optimized playability. The Standard H-150’s stability and intonation are rock solid, thanks to a non-locking Tune-o-matic bridge and high-quality Grover tuners. Featuring cream-colored body binding, a "The Heritage" sticker headstock logo, and classic-style trapezoid fingerboard inlays, the Standard H-150 was carefully handcrafted in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

Destined to become the centerpiece of your collection

Simply put, the Standard H-150 is a gorgeous solidbody electric guitar. And it plays like a dream. A supremely eye-grabbing curly maple top rests on top of a genuine mahogany body, all covered with a beautiful nitrocellulose lacquer finish. The Standard H-150's rolled neck features a comfortable Standard "C" shape; a long tenon ensures exceptional sustain and response. The neck is capped by an easy-playing rosewood fingerboard with a bone nut and medium-jumbo Jescar frets. You also get a 5.5-degree neck angle, plus a non-locking Tune-o-matic bridge and Grover 18:01 tuners for rock-solid stability and intonation. Beyond that, cream-colored body binding, a "The Heritage" sticker headstock logo, and classic-style trapezoid fingerboard inlays give this guitar an attention-grabbing look. The Standard H-150 is destined to become the centerpiece of your guitar collection.

Seymour Duncan pickups deliver PAF goodness

The Heritage Standard H-150 is outfitted with a set of Seymour Duncan '59 pickups. These pickups represent Seymour Duncan’s take on classic Seth Lover PAF (Patent Applied For) humbuckers from the late 1950s. All the classic ingredients are there, including plain enamel wire, a long-legged bottom plate, and a vintage-correct single-conductor cable. That said, these vintage-inspired humbuckers exhibit mids that are slightly more scooped than the Seth Lover model and are vacuum wax potted for squeal-free performance. The guitarists here at Sweetwater appreciate the versatility of these humbuckers. Whether you plug into a vintage tube combo or into a modern high-gain amplifier, they deliver the goods. Seymour Duncan '59 pickups eschew the Seymour Duncan logo to maintain a period-correct look. The Standard H-150 features CTS 500k potentiometers and Vishay .022uF capacitors.

A tradition of quality handcrafted guitars

For 68 years, 225 Parsons Street in Kalamazoo, Michigan, was home to one of America's premier guitar manufacturers. In 1984, the company moved its operations. The next year, desiring to carry on the tradition of handcrafting electric guitars in Kalamazoo, three former senior employees — who possessed a combined 84 years of guitar-building experience — founded Heritage, buying space and much of the original equipment in the iconic factory. Heritage has since established its own tradition of quality by handcrafting guitars with flawless playability, tone, and visual appeal. Everybody loves vintage guitars. But if you're after a real-deal classic without the vintage markup, Heritage guitars are the way to go.

Heritage Standard H-150 Features:

  • Resonant mahogany body is topped with exquisite curly maple
  • Seymour Duncan humbuckers re-create the magic of the original PAFs
  • Comfortable rolled Standard "C"-shaped neck with rosewood fingerboard
  • Bone nut and medium-jumbo Jescar frets supply optimal feel and sustain
  • Precision Plek'd for maximum sustain and heightened playability
  • Set neck construction with long tenon provides exceptional sustain and response
  • Non-locking Tune-o-matic bridge and Grover 18:1 tuners ensure rock-solid stability and intonation
  • Cream-colored body binding, "The Heritage" sticker headstock logo, and classic-style trapezoid fingerboard inlays
  • Light-reflecting gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish
  • Handcrafted in Kalamazoo, MI

Best Guitar I have!! Hands down!

It was excruciatingly painful to wait the full 24 hours before you can open the guitar case. This is my first really expensive guitar that I have bought. So I'm just speaking from a 20 plus year guitar noodlers point of view. LOL But this guitar is by far the best setup from the factory that I have owned. It almost played its self when your playing it. This guitar sounds really beautiful using the Seymour Duncan '59 (Neck & Bridge)pickups. Thanks Sweetwater for the great advice on choosing a great guitar. Shout out to Adam Hunter for checking on me when I purchase new gear.

Gibson Who?

Wow, what can I say? I was absolutely blown away by the Heritage H-150. I've always heard good things about them, but ordering such an expensive guitar online without playing it always scared me. But after playing a handful of Gibson LP standards in my guitar shopping endeavors, and consistently being disappointed with the QC on them as well as only one out of the 6 that I played actually manifesting a good tone, I said to heck with it. I took the leap and ordered an absolutely beautiful example of the H-150. And man, I don't regret it one bit!! I've owned 8 Gibson LP's over the years, this beats all of them. First of all, the attention to detail and QC is off the charts. I have stupidly bad OCD when it comes to guitars and this checked al the boxes. The build quality is just insane! Next the tone and playability. It plays and sounds like a dream. You really loose track of time when you're playing, it just plays so easy. And the Duncan 59s really don't disappoint either. The problem I've always had with Gibsons is to my ear, the stock pickups often sound muddy with little clarity and chime. The Duncan 59s however are perfect, nice clear low end with crispy highs without being thin or brittle sounding. All in all just an excellent guitar, you will absolutely not be disappointed. Do yourself a favor and order one ASAP, you will not regret it!!
